Read My Book Reviews on Amazon.com

To all fellow Objectivism enthusiasts,

As a student of Objectivism who loves to read, I have been writing a flurry of book reviews on Amazon.com. In addition to reading and rating books by Objectivists, I also love to read books on economic thought, current events (e.g., global warming, Islamic terrorism), military history and intellectual history. At the time of this writing, I now have over 50 reviews submitted.

I think there is plenty of opportunity for constructive and effective intellectual activism on Amazon.com. In addition to writing book reviews from an Objectivist perspective, this also includes properly rating certain reviews as helpful (or unhelpful) as well as commenting on existing reviews and other comments. If you truly find my reviews helpful, please rate them as helpful. If my reviews receive good ratings, then they get higher visibility. I would like to gain a presence as a "top" book reviewer on Amazon.com.

You should be able to see my reviews here:

For those of you who have seen this page before, the most recent updates include:

New reviews on:
* Hard Drive: Bill Gates and the Making of the Microsoft Empire by James Wallace

* Lost History: The Enduring Legacy of Muslims Scientists, Thinkers and Artists by Michael Morgan

* The Barbary Wars: American Independence in the Atlantic World by Frank Lambert

* On Classical Economics by Thomas Sowell

* Antitrust and Monopoly: Anatomy of a Policy Failure by Dominick Armentano

Updated reviews on:
* Marxism: Philosophy and Economics by Thomas Sowell
(Reason for update: After further reflection and after reading Sowell's On Classical Economics, I decided to deduct a star because this book is not as clear as it could have been.)

* Bully Boy: The Truth About Theodore Roosevelt by Jim Powell
(Reason for update: Decided that this book is worthy of four stars due to it containing a lot of useful information despite the uninformative and often nettlesome Libertarian analysis.)

Unfortunately, the helpful votes for my old reviews did not carry over to the new ones. =/ Thus, please feel free to rate these two new reviews as helpful too, even if you already rated the old ones.

Constructive feedback, both positive and negative, is always welcome.

Thanks!
